What is in a name? |
About me: I am a 33 year old female, born as the youngest of 4 children and raised in the beautiful hills of Kentucky. I am a true southern girl; I love the simple things in life and yes.. I almost always go barefoot ~WS~ I was raised in a Pentecostal Church but do not believe in religion; I feel religion is the number one wall between man & God. I am in a long-term relationship with a wonderful guy from Canada and have three beautiful children. I have a firey personality; am free spirited, straight forward and mischievous as hell sometimes. However, I can also be very serene and on the quiet side. I have a nasty little temper that gets me into trouble when I let it and I love with everything in me. I am a descendant of King Henry VIII as well as 4th cousin to Frank & Jesse James, which definitely explains the personality traits ~L~ I am in the process of completing a CIS degree at Jefferson Community College. My greatest love and passion with computers is dabbling with graphics & web design as well as helping others with basic software applications. |
Likes & Dislikes: I am a passionate cat lover, especially the larger and less tame! My favorite bands are Eagles and Fleetwood Mac. I love to shoot pool, sing karaoke and work on my web pages when I feel less active. I strongly dislike Prejudice & War and I believe there are no excuses for rich men when helpless children are going hungry. I am a proud member and sponsor of The Childs Cry Foundation. I believe one of the greatest female role models who ever lived was Princess Diana Spencer, who was greatly admired & respected for her many sacrifices, contributions, strengths and the effect in which all of these attributes had upon the world. When Princess Di passed on August 31, 1997, it greatly effected me for this world having lost such a beautiful soul; a true Lady in every sense of the word. Thru her existence, we learned the reality of fairytale dreams. She used her power and influence to achieve greatness in the world rather than to obtain greatness for herself. She reached out to the world with all that she had to give and she did so with great love and humility. She was (and forever will be) my greatest hero. Other women in history which I greatly admire and respect are (but are not limited to): Evita Peron, Susan B. Anthony, Esther Peterson & Eleanor Roosevelt. On behalf of women thru out the world, thank you ladies for all that you contributed in your own ways to bring about change for women, children & poverty. I may never have the opportunity to be as brave as each of you were for the cause of so many people, but so long as you are remembered and all that you worked to achieve continues to live within us, you shall never leave us and your legacies will live on forever. |
